  YNY CONSULTING ENGINEER SDN. BHD. (SSM Registration no. 1129421-X), formally known as YNY Consulting Engineer, is a multi disciplinary Civil and Structural Consultancy that was started its professional practice since 2008. The company is registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM) and provides Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Project Management consultancy services. It is under the charge of Ir Ng Wen Yeh and Ir Leong Mun Yew working in association with others, who has great experience in this aspect of engineering consultancy and project management. The main objective of this establishment is to provide good engineering practice and design proposal at the most cost optimum with respect to the Client’s monetary resources and project schedule.

 

The Civil or Infrastructural Engineering team has extensive experience in the design of Earthwork, Road & Drainage, Storm Water Management, Water Supply & Reticulation, Sewerage Reticulation, Sewerage Treatment Work and etc.

 

Structural Engineering is an area of strength which has developed in YNY Consulting Engineer and the team has designed numerous high rise buildings, luxury high end bungalow, office and industrial factory. Utilizing the latest engineering software and our combined knowledge, we are able to complete value engineering assessments and save more than 20% on structural costs. In addition, the team has skills in structural assessments, rehabilitation works, failure investigation reports and remedial works for existing buildings.

 

For the field of Geotechnical Engineering, we have completed Geotechnical Reports and Assessment Study of hill slopes and soft grounds. Our expertise enables us to advice on and design for slope stability, remedial works, reinforced earth walls, crib walls. Key stone walls, gunite or shortcrete walls, contiguous bore pile walls, soil nailing and rock bolting. The soft ground treatments we typically recommend include PVD methods, preloading, stone columns and pile embankments.  

 

Finally, the Project Management services that are offered by the team at YNY Consulting Engineer include undertaking tasks such as coordination, budget control and time frame management. This assists the client by bringing our engineering knowledge to the project enabling an uncomplicated solution should it be required. Our services can be applied to both in-house projects, where the client wishes to other fields of expertise within YNY Consulting Engineer, or independently, in projects that utilize consultants from other firms.
